The research topics of Professor Ali Zaoui are mainly dedicated to the modeling and simulation methods based on first-principles, molecular dynamics and Monte Carlo. They cover a wide range of materials including geo-materials, minerals, clays, cement, ashphalt, nano-composites, nanomaterials, polymers, semiconductors and metals. The originality of these works lies in the pioneering role of his team in this field, which enables it to be positioned at the highest international level with a fundamental aspect confirmed by high impact publications in international journals.
Professor Zaoui has published over 200 papers in international journals and supervised around 30 PhD students.
