The laboratory is located on 4 sites :
- Béthune, with the Applied Sciences Faculty and Bethune's IUT of the Artois University,
- Douai, with the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department of IMT Nord Europe,
- Villeneuve d'Ascq, with Polytech’Lille, the Faculty of Science and Technology (Departments of Biology and Earth Sciences) of the University of Lille,
- Lille, with Junia (ISA-HEI-ISEN) from the Catholic University of Lille
Early 2021,er janvier 2025, le LGCgE accueille environ 180 personnes, dont 95 enseignants-chercheurs et chercheurs, 35 personnels techniques et administratifs et 50 doctorants.
